Life Groups

What is a Life Group?

The Life Group is to the Christian what a Greenhouse is to a plant. Where a Greenhouse provides all the necessary elements for the growth of the plant, the Life Group provides all the necessary elements for the growth of the Christian. In other words, the Life Group is the primary method at Prince of Peace for our growth as followers of Jesus.

What happens in a Life Group?

Each Life Group has its own personality, but each Life Group contains common elements. These common elements are known as, "means of grace." They are called means of grace because God has promised His Holy Spirit to us through these elements. These common elements include the reading of the Bible, Prayer, and the encouraging of one another.

Additionally, participation in a Life Group is a commitment not only to Jesus, but also to His body the church. When we are saved by Jesus we are saved into His family. Participation in the family of God is therefore part of growing as a follower of Jesus.

How do I join a Life Group?

Here is a list of our current Life Groups. To inquire about joining a Life Group, contact the leader to learn more about their group.
